Improve your learning and practice.
This course will place ethics in focus, through the lens of East Asian philosophies. We will explore codes of conduct and professional roles and responsibilities for the services you provide as health practitioners, in order to enhance skills and competence.
Of all the ways you might act, which is the most important? Of all possibilities, how should you act? What positive steps can you take to ensure you are well placed to deal with the complexities, dilemmas and issues which complicate professional practice and decision making.
Through teamwork, we will discuss the implications and distinctions between professional policies and regulative matters, in contrast to ideas found in East Asian moral traditions. We will enquire into the values broadly concerned with human well-being, the maintenance of a peaceful society, so that all may benefit and flourish.
At the end of this workshop, you should feel inspired and confident to grow.
