Getting to the College
The Australian Shiatsu College is easily accessible by public transport.
- By Tram – Moreland No 6 tram or East Coburg No1 tram. Tram Stop 123 Albert Street is just a 1-minute walk around the corner from the College.
- By Train – Brunswick Station (Upfield line). Approximately a 10-15min walk to the college.
- If coming by car, parking is available in neighbouring streets and on Lygon Street (check signs for parking restrictions). We request that you avoid parking in Evans Street as this is a residential street space is limited.
- We encourage people-powered transport options and have space for bike storage. On arrival, feel free to quietly wheel your bike through the building to the storage room at the back past the kitchen.
The college is an oasis of stillness in the busyness of the surrounding city. We ask that you switch your mobile phone to silent upon entering the college and take any phone calls outside so as not to disturb classes/treatments.
The carpeted areas are used for treatment and we request that you remove your shoes before entering these areas. You are welcome to wear your outside shoes in other areas of the college, or bring indoor slippers for the carpeted areas if you are attending a class and regularly experience cold feet. We also request that you refrain from consuming food and drink in these areas to avoid spills and mess.
On arrival feel free to head to the kitchen and help yourself to a glass of water or make yourself a cup of tea. If you are coming to the college for a full day event we have a fully stocked kitchen with all the tools you may need to reheat/eat your lunch.
We look forward to welcoming you to the college.
