The
college's main academic focus is a minimum two-year Diploma of Shiatsu and
Oriental Therapies which is accredited with the State Training Board of
Victoria as well as being Nationally Recognised Training, and is Austudy
approved. The Diploma has Industry Accreditation with the Shiatsu Therapy
Association of Australia (S.T.A.A.)
The Diploma has been
carefully refined to offer students holistic, comprehensive and flexible
training in the foundations of Chinese Medicine and a variety of Shiatsu
modalities, including Zen, Classical and Barefoot. The course also contains
modules of dietary therapeutics, client-therapist dynamics, western anatomy
and physiology, Sotai, Moxa/Cupping and Tui Na (Chinese Massage Therapy).
